Ingredients for 2 servings

1 pack Cornmeal Porridge Original

600ml water

¼ cup milk (for finishing)

½ tsp vanilla extract (for flavoring)
Preparation step by step
1. Mix the cornmeal
Mix the cornmeal in a pot with 600ml of cold water until smooth. This will prevent lumps.
2. Simmer & stir
Let the porridge simmer on low heat for about 3-4 minutes , until it thickens. Stir regularly to prevent burning!
5. Sweeten & refine
Now add milk and vanilla extract to taste for extra creaminess and aroma.
6. Serve
Serve hot – plain or with toppings such as banana slices, cinnamon or a pinch of nutmeg.
Tip:
The porridge also tastes fantastic with some grated nutmeg instead of vanilla extract!
